Bassplayers are only noticed when they stop playing.
Michael is very comfortable with that situation. His musical journey began as a wanna-be drummer but he quickly realised the unique role the bass has in music: connecting rhythm and melody. Starting out in a punk band Michael soon switched his focus to funk and prog rock with Level 42 and Rush as main influences. Playing in a wide range of cover and original bands in Australia and Europe Michael was able to develop vast experience in a great variety of musical styles. Ultimately his approach is to lock in with the drummer and provide the foundation for the other band members to shine.
A relative late-comer to appreciate Toto’s unique talents with The Seventh One being his first real exposure to Toto Michael is now intimately familiar with all of Toto’s work. With his his love for rock, rock-jazz and well-constructed pop music he is the perfect candidate to represent the amazing talents of David Hungate and Mike Porcaro.

Jeremy has been performing in Melbourne-based shows across all genres for over 40 years. He is most passionate about playing piano, but is equally comfortable on synthesiser and has solid vocal abilities to accompany his keyboard skills. His rock and roll playing style has been the focus of his development in recent years with early influences like David Paich, Billy Joel, Donald Fagen and Leon Russell but is also at home playing blues and ballads.
Jeremy began playing piano at age 3, and was known for his ability early in life to hear a tune, go to the piano and find the notes to play it. He has been performing on stage since he was 13, with his first band performance in front of his school in a 3 piece outfit, raising funds for Ethiopia well before Bob Geldof! His professional musical career began in the cover band scene in 1980 and extended throughout that decade at all the major hotel and club venues in Melbourne as well as extensive East Coast tours. In 1991, he ventured out to perform a repertoire of original music written by his brother and toured with that show. More recently, Jeremy has been performing in a number of tribute shows, featuring the works of Cat Stevens, Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin. Toto have always been a musical reference point throughout his life journey and their works have featured in most outfits he has performed with. His favorite albums are Toto IV and The Seventh One.
